    Born in a small town in the western part of Ukraine in 1972, Vlad began his musical career at age 7 playing drums. At age 13 he took guitar lessons and since then guitar became his path in his life. Vlad studied jazz and classical music. By age 14 he won several jazz festivals in Europe. By the age of 17 Vlad played with biggest stars in Ukraine reaching #1 hits in the Ukrainian and Polish charts. After joining an art rock band “Tea Fan Club” (TFC), was hired as a studio guitarist by Leo Studios in Lviv, Molem in Krakow, M-Studios MTV in Berlin and worked with a varieties of well known popular and classical artists as well as writing music for major national shows and soundtracks for motion pictures.

    TFC had been given the “People of the Year” national award after joining presidential campaign endorsing democratic candidate for Ukraine’s independence.

    After TFC split up, Vlad formed a new band “Loony Pelen” reaching #1 hits and #1 album in the national charts.

    in 1996 Berklee College of Music in Boston invites Vlad to study in the USA by offering a scholarship. Later in New York City Vlad is offered a record deal from Orpheus/EMI records.

    Currently Vlad resides in California where he writes his music.

    Joining the Tonos community in November 2002, Vlad was selected as a semifinalist in montly A&R Drop Box entries with:
